Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, first smartphone features Snapdragon 821 Processor is launched

Asus today announced the launch of a new variant of Zenfone 3 Deluxe with 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This is the first smartphone featuring the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Qualcomm said, Snapdragon 821 is 10 percent faster than the Snapdragon 820 which powers some most advanced smartphones includes Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Xiaomi Mi5, LG G5, HTC 10, LeEco LeMax 2, and Sony Xperia X.

Zenfone 3 Deluxe equipped with Snapdragon 821 and 6 GB RAM is expected to top the benchmarking charts. Asus revealed the new smartphone while announcing the launch of its Zenfone 3 series phones in Taiwan. All the phones of this series - Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe (4GB and 6 GB) and Zenfone 3 Ultra will now available for pre-booking in Taiwan and will be shipped afterJuly 29.

The Zenfone 3 is priced at NTD 7,990, $248 or approximately Rs 16,660. The Zenfone Ultra has a price tag of NTD 17,990 or $558 and can be expected at Rs 37,520 approximately. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is priced at NTD 17,990 or $558 and can be expected to priced at Rs 37,520 approximately with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage variant with Snapdragon 820 processor and Zenfone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 821 version is priced at NTD 24,990 or $775 or expected to be priced at Rs 52,090 approximately. The variant of Zenfone 3 Deluxe with 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and Snapdragon 820 is priced at NTD 15,990 or $496 or approximately priced around Rs 33,345 for India.

The Zenfone 3 comes in gold, blue, black and white colours. The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass coating on both front and back side and aluminium frame protects the internals. The Zenfone 3 has a 5.5-inch LCD screen, a Snapdragon 625 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera along with 3000 mAh battery.

Other features includes a fingerprint sensor, USB Type C 2.0 port, 4GB RAM and an expandable storage slot, that can hold a micro SD card of up to 64GB. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra have metal unibody design. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has been announced in grey, silver and gold colours. It has a slightly bigger 5.7-inch 1080p full HD OLED touchscreen display, a 23-megapixel rear camera and USB Type C 3.0 port. The Zenfone 3 Ultra has a huge 6.8-inch full HD LCD screen. Device is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB RAM. It too has a 23-megapixel rear camera, USB Type C 3.0 port, but comes with a bigger 4,600 mAh battery. The Zenfone 3 Ultra comes in grey, silver and pink colours.
